About Samantha
I'm a senior at the University of Pennsylvania studying cognitive science, focused on designing and prototyping digital products.
I didn't start here. I initially explored pre-health for its stability, but realized I was more drawn to understanding how people think, behave, and interact with technology. That shift led me to design, where I could apply those interests in a more creative and practical way.
My interest in behavior started through gaming, where I became curious about what keeps people engaged, what frustrates them, and why some experiences just feel better to use. That curiosity now shapes how I approach UX, focusing on decision-making, friction points, and interaction details.
I build and experiment with ideas using AI tools, quickly turning concepts into working prototypes. Recently, I've been exploring computer vision for sports—combining my 19 years in gymnastics with movement analysis from video.
I'm interested in roles where I can think deeply about users and quickly bring ideas to life.
Outside of work, you'll probably find me playing League, exploring new games, or listening to K-pop.
